Gareth’s career in healthcare began in 1994 as a diagnostic radiographer. As a radiographer he has encountered a diverse array of patients and injuries, dealing with patients from casualty, to intensive care, to patients pre and post surgery. Gareth continues to work in this field on a part time basis at Watford General Hospital.
In 2001, Gareth decided to expand on his diagnostic knowledge with a degree in osteopathy allowing him to concentrate on treating patients. Gareth qualified from the Brisitsh School of Osteopthy with a Bachelor of Osteopathy degree and has focused his osteopathic work in the Watford and surrounding Herfordshire areas.
Gareth has a genuine affinity for the profession and a desire to treat all walks of life, ages and conditions. Gareth has developed a particular interest in the treatment of pregnancy related discomfort, babies, care of the elderly and sports injuries.
Gareth is a firm believer in involving patients in their own care and in finding the right treatment option for them. To aid this Gareth has further trained in rehabilitation and Medical Acupuncture.
Gareth is fully registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the British Osteopathic Association. Gareth is registered with all health insurances, including BUPA and AXA PPP.
Reshma’s career in healthcare began as a diagnostic radiographer in 1997. She has since specialized in cross sectional imaging; MRI, CT and PET. She has spent time imaging a vast array of patients from oncology patients at Mount Vernon Hospital, elite athletes and dancers at The Devonshire Clinic London and pediatrics at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
With this huge interest and knowledge in musculoskeletal anatomy and the affect of disease and injury on the functioning body Reshma developed her desire to treat patients. Reshma qualified from the British School of Osteopathy having achieved a Masters in Osteopathy.
Reshma has combined her healthcare experience and her osteopathic training to enable her to treat a whole range of patients and conditions, including: the young, the old, competitive or recreational sportsmen, people with work related postural problems to musculoskeletal changes in pregnancy.
Reshma is also is a firm believer in involving patients in their own care and in finding the right treatment option for them.
Diego's interest in the human body started when he began practicing yoga in 2008. With a growing interest in how the human body works and the link with health and pain, he enrolled at the British School of Osteopathy where he was awarded a Masters in Osteopathy.
Since then, Diego's interest in the human body has never ceased. He is always looking to help his patients to enjoy a more active, pain free life. His treatments draw from different aspects and include taping and medical acupuncture. He is also currently taking a 1 year post graduate course in Classical Osteopathy to further develop his skills and techniques.
Diego continues to practice yoga on a regular basis and brings his calm, friendly and positive attitude to the treatment room to provide the highest standard of care.
Kamiko is our warm and friendly receptionist who prides herself on patient comfort and care. Previously working in London as a Project Manager, Kamiko quit to per-sue her passion for travel, photography and writing.
Kamiko has extensive experience teaching and looking after children ranging from 3 months right through to adulthood, and enjoys working with children of all ages.
Currently, along with being part of our team, Kamiko focuses on writing for her travel blog and coaching volleyball on the side.
